  • Embossed leather

Use a soft, clean cloth to dust your leather. Embossed leather is tough leather, so it won't scratch easily. If this is the case, get colorless wax or a special leather milk that you will find at your shoemaker.
Place a hazelnut on a clean textile and massage the leather with small circular movements. Let dry 2h to 8h. Protect your bag from any prolonged exposure to light, intense heat or humidity and when you are not wearing it, store it in its dustbag.
Our leathers have all been pre-treated so there is no need to waterproof it directly after your purchase, wait 3 months of regular use to begin a waterproofing process.

  • The smooth leather

Our natural smooth calfskin products are made with high quality Italian leathers. It is "full grain" leather...

... whose original surface has been preserved and embellished. This leather is little covered on the surface to let all its natural beauty shine through. Any small marks are all proof of authenticity. Contact with water/rain may cause fine bubbles to appear which will subside over time. To enjoy your bag for as long as possible, we advise you to waterproof it once a year (you do not have to do this upon receipt) and moisturize it with a colorless leather milk cream that you will find at your cobbler. It is always recommended to have your products treated by leather professionals in order to avoid problems related to maintenance.

  • Ribbed suede

Ribbed suede is a suede-like leather.

To enjoy your bag for as long as possible, we recommend waterproofing it regularly and avoiding carrying it in the rain. Our ribbed suede is specially treated for leather goods to prevent color transfer. However, dark or bright nubuck colors can rub off on a very light garment (even more so when the garment is new). Conversely, a dark fabric like jeans may rub off on light nubuck. It is always recommended to have your products treated by leather professionals.

  • grained leather

Use a soft, clean cloth to dust your leather. Grained leather is a durable leather, so it does not scratch easily.

  • Suede leather

Brush velvet parts before first use with a soft brush (to remove sanding dust) and waterproof with a universal spray. This operation should be repeated regularly. Caution: your dark clothes, the dye of which would have been badly fixed, could drain on your accessory. Protect from heat sources. Pay attention to the friction of your accessory on abrasive surfaces. Avoid prolonged contact with water, moisture strengthens the migration of colors on clothes. Avoiding prolonged exposure to sun or artificial light can shade the color. Leather is patinated over time, it is a living and natural material. The delicacy with which you maintain your accessory will allow you to keep it for a long time.
